Alarm Ordinance Number 2011-04 requires that all individuals and businesses located in the unincorporated areas of Lincoln County register their alarms with the Lincoln County Planning Department, and pay the yearly permit fee of $25.00. This is a yearly permit fee. Every permit shall expire on December 31 of each calendar year, regardless of when in the year an alarm permit was issued.

Alarm renewal letters are sent out at the end of November. Alarm permits need to be renewed for 2013 no later than January 15, 2013. Permits can be renewed online or by sending in your completed registration form along with a check or money order made out to the County of Lincoln. Please mail the form and check to: County of Lincoln, Planning Department: 115 Kansas City Road, Ruidoso, NM 88345.

New permits must be registered through mail only.

Please be advised, if the application and fee are not received within this time frame, a $100.00 fine in addition to the $25 fee, shall be assessed.
